A Dream Proposal!
Inês and João’s story began with a proposal worthy of a movie.
João planned everything down to the smallest detail and, during a holiday in Cape Verde, he knelt on the beach at Ponta Preta and gave Inês a very special engagement ring — a family heirloom, kept inside a shell he found in the sand.
With a beginning like that, you can probably imagine how amazing the wedding turned out to be…

After saying the long-awaited “yes”, Inês and João organised their wedding with the help of Outlux Wedding Planner, ensuring that every detail was perfect. Their wedding at Quinta dos Machados proved to be the ideal choice, offering an idyllic setting for the ceremony and a welcoming atmosphere to receive their guests.
Of course, there were a few bumps along the way (as with any wedding!), but the final result exceeded all expectations. Dinner was served outdoors, taking full advantage of the venue’s natural beauty, and once the music started, the dance floor quickly became the heart of the evening.
