Norway wasn’t on my travel list… That changed when Catarina and Stig chose me to photograph their wedding. And what a debut! How It All Began
Catarina and Stig met online in 2008 when she was still living in Portugal. Shortly after, Catarina traveled to Stavanger and, well… never left! In 2019, during a romantic trip to Amsterdam, Stig proposed to her on a beautifully lit bridge, with the sound of the canals flowing beneath. Romantic, right?

Wedding at Sola Strand Hotel
The big day took place on a radiant August day, defying Norway’s unpredictable weather. Sola Strand Hotel, located by the golden sands of Sola Beach, turned out to be the perfect setting. The combination of a historic hotel, sandy dunes, and the infinite blue of the sea created an incredible atmosphere for an elegant yet relaxed wedding.
The ceremony took place in a charming little church, surrounded by rolling green hills. We then moved to a nearby forest for a photoshoot, where the soft sunlight filtered through the trees, creating a truly magical setting.
To wrap it all up, the fresh sea breeze and soft sand made everything even more special.
