Natalia and Bruno decided to celebrate their wedding at Quinta dos Plátanos, in Alenquer.
Alenquer is known for having many wedding venues, including some of the most well-known ones near Lisbon. I had already photographed weddings at several of these venues, but never at Quinta dos Plátanos.

Natália & Bruno
Natalia and Bruno contacted me in August 2021, almost a year before their wedding. They reached out through a recommendation from a mutual friend, at a time when there was still some uncertainty due to the pandemic. However, it seemed likely that by the summer of 2022 things would return to normal.
They decided to get married after eight years of dating. They were on holiday in Madeira when they visited Pico do Arieiro, and Bruno surprised Natália by proposing to her there.

Wedding at Quinta dos Plátanos
This was my first wedding at Quinta dos Plátanos and I was left with a very positive impression of the venue. Although July was already quite hot, the trees and the breeze that can be felt in that area helped a lot. I enjoy weddings with plenty of greenery, and I also like venues with history. Quinta dos Plátanos is therefore perfect, combining lush greenery with a centuries-old building.
Here are some photos from the ceremony, the reception, and the couple’s portrait session.

The Party!
I was curious: what would the wedding party at Quinta dos Plátanos be like?
After photographing more than 200 weddings over the last eight years, I’ve come to appreciate venues that offer a pleasant space for the party. When you think about it, the party is one of the most important parts of the wedding — yet not every venue has a suitable space (in terms of size or accessibility) to host a lively celebration.

After the wedding, Natalia and Bruno went on their honeymoon to Dubai and the Maldives. They told me it was a memorable trip — first because they experienced a culture so different from ours in Dubai, and then because they fully enjoyed the Maldives, which they described as “a paradise on earth.”

Thank you for your interest in Natalia and Bruno’s special day and their wedding at Quinta dos Plátanos. Every year I photograph dozens of weddings, but only a few are featured on the website. If you would like to see other weddings that have been published here, you can visit this page.
