Juliana & Miguel

Juliana and Miguel’s love story began more than four years before their wedding day. After a dream proposal in Bali, they knew exactly the kind of celebration they wanted — warm, genuine and surrounded by the people they love most. They chose Quinta do Coração for their wedding, and it could not have been a more fitting choice.

The planning began in early 2020,

at one of the most uncertain moments in recent memory. The pandemic had just arrived and nobody knew what the coming months would look like. But Juliana and Miguel moved forward with calm and determination — and when the day finally came, it was everything they had hoped for and more.

Wedding at Quinta do Coração

If there is one thing a Brazilian wedding brings to the room, it is energy. And although Miguel is Portuguese, Juliana’s family made sure the warmth and joy of Brazil were felt throughout the entire day. The dancing started early and never really stopped — exactly the kind of wedding I love to photograph.

A wedding at Quinta do Coração has a natural rhythm to it.

The outdoor ceremony is surrounded by greenery and open sky, the cocktail flows easily into the surrounding spaces, and by the time the reception begins, the whole day has found its pace. Nothing feels forced or rushed.

The woodland area at golden hour deserves a special mention. When the late afternoon light filters through the trees, the setting becomes something else entirely — one of those locations that produces photographs worth keeping for a lifetime.

A Fairytale Ending

Juliana and Miguel’s wedding was a celebration of love, family and resilience — and a genuine privilege to photograph. Every image from that day tells part of a larger story, and I hope these photographs reflect how much joy was in the room.

All the photographs in this post were taken in a purely documentary style — no poses, no staged moments. My goal is always to capture photographs that are not just beautiful, but meaningful.
